CBC’s The National features Bookclub-in-a-Box in a segment on ereaders

Last week, the CBC’s Havard Gould visited the Bookclub-in-a-Box centre to hear a lively discussion on the pros and cons of ereaders. Some said the Kindle and the Kobo are ideal for travelling with a large number of books, some were fans of the devices but said they’d never replace the experience of curling up with a good paperback, and others simply saw them as another frustrating piece of technology to wrestle with.

Gould and his cameraman caught the whole thing on tape, and on December 14, our Bookclub-in-a-Box discussion group was featured on CBC’s The National in a segment on giving ereaders as gifts during the holiday season. The video is no longer available on their site, but luckily for you, we’ve captured it and put it on YouTube!
